Iran welcomes Syria deal, urges political solution
DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran, a close ally and military backer of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, welcomed a U.S.-Russian deal for a truce in Syria, saying on Sunday the conflict should be ended through politics.
